Camera in toilet claims investigated
Although they have not laid charges, Hastings police confirmed they are investigating the case but say they will not be commenting until a media release is made this morning.
It is understood the man is a staff member at McCain Foods in Hastings.
It is believed the man was suspended last Friday pending an internal investigation and he resigned on Monday.
It is understood staff were told at a meeting today that a camera had been found in the unisex toilets by the young son of a staff member.
McCain%26#39;s has offered counselling to the staff affected, and told them not to speak about the case, the Sunday Star Times understands.
The company will not comment, a spokesperson says.
