Chris Kirk’s 19 points pushed the Notre Dame High School boys basketball team to an 86-13 thrashing of Rivermont Collegiate Saturday in Bettendorf.
Kevin Moehn added 11 points for the Nikes, and Luke Schneider had 10 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.
Tyler Hackenmiller scored 10 for the Nikes, who are 16-4 and play at Fort Madison Monday.

No. 5 WACO 51
Jordan Cotton scored a game-high 21 points as Mount Pleasant took a nonconference victory over fifth-ranked (Class 1A) WACO in Wayland.
Blake Heitmeier and Josh Burns scored 12 points apiece for the Panthers, who hit eight 3-pointers in the contest.
Austin McBeth led WACO with 16 points, while Chayse Roth added 10.
WACO, which had its 14-game winning streak snapped, faces Pekin for the SEI Superconference Tournament championship Friday at Burlington Notre Dame.

BHS freshmen take own tournament
The Burlington freshmen opened their own tournament with a 61-22 thrashing of the Wapello junior varsity before beating Iowa City West 48-36 in the championship game at Clark Field House.
Meghan Ryan’s 15 points led the Graypups in their opener. Alyssa Prickett added 11 points.
In the final, Miranda Kramer led BHS with 16 points. Tyra Gerling and Paris Anderson added 10 each.
The Graypups (12-4) end their season Monday at Quincy, Ill.
